  1. The promoter
    • The promoter is the University of Cambridge, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS, through its Autism Research Centre (the ‘ARC’) at the Department of Psychiatry.
  2. the competition
    • The title of the competition is “More than meets the eye – Art and science competition and online exhibition”.
    • The competition is being run by the ARC as part of the Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials (‘AIMS-2-TRIALS’). The AIMS-2-TRIALS is a five-year project bringing together researchers, charities and companies across Europe to carry out a range of projects to better understand how autism develops and to develop new therapies.     • This competition has been co-designed by the Cambridge AIMS-2-TRIALS communication team and a group of 5 autistic people and carers called A-Reps as part of an art and science exhibition. The competition is an opportunity to raise awareness about autism and win a prize by submitting an original art piece that is inspired by autism or is an interpretation of your autism. Entries will be judged on artistic merit and how well it expresses the theme by a panel of three judges.
    • There are three categories for entry:
      • Individual (art created without assistance);
      • Individual (art created with assistance); and
      • Group submission
  1. Eligibility
    • To enter the competition, entrants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of entry and a resident of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Germany, France, Italy or the Netherlands.
    • For entrants under 18 years of age from the Netherlands, France or Spain, and for entrants under relevant guardianship in any jurisdiction, the consent of parents/guardians (as relevant) must be submitted at the time of entry. Under such circumstances, the ARC reserves the right to verify consent of the entrant’s parents/.
    • The competition is open to people with autism only.
    • In entering the competition, entrants, or entrants’ parents/guardians if applicable, confirm that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize they may win. The ARC may ask for proof of age, residence or eligibility.
    • By submitting a competition entry, entrants, or entrants’ parents/guardians if applicable, agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. how to enter
    • The Competition will run from 10:00AM GMT on 2 April 2023 (the ‘Opening Date’) to 12:00AM GMT on 1 September 2023 (the ‘Closing Date’) inclusive.
    • The Competition is free to enter.
    • It is expressly agreed that any costs or expenses arising from entrants’ participation to the Competition will be borne by entrants only.
    • All entries must be submitted online and received by the ARC no later than 12:00AM on the Closing Date. Any entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified. Winners of the competition will be announced on [date 1 month after Closing Date] (the ‘Announcement Date’).
    • To enter the competition:
      • Download and complete an entry form available at [XXX]; and
      • Upload the completed entry form and a photocopy in image format ( JPEG, PNG, etc.) of the entrant’s artwork at https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/art-competition/
    • A maximum of three submissions is allowed per entrant. In the event more than three entries are submitted, only the entrant’s first three submissions will be considered.
    • Incomplete, corrupt or late entries and entries submitted by post will not be accepted.
    • The ARC cannot accept responsibility for any equipment failure, technical malfunctions, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind or any other problem which may result in any entry not being received or properly registered.
    • Entries should not contain any copyrighted material or anything that is defamatory, obscene, unlawful, offensive or otherwise unsuitable. Entries must be suitable for public display and for audiences of all ages. The ARC reserves all rights to disqualify entries that do not comply with these principles.

    • Competition entries will be judged by a panel of three judges comprising two independent judges. The judges were chosen by A-Reps based on nomination and ranking of nominated individuals. The judges are:
      • Tammillia Winters, a multi-talented and passionate autistic artist who works in multiple mediums. More information can be found at https://missinktrovert.com/about/.
      • Kate Adams, the Artistic Director of Project Art Works, a neurodiversity art organisation. More information can be found at https://projectartworks.org/the-organisation/.
      • Siddharth Khajuria, the director at Science Gallery London. He brings together both the art and science elements of the project. More information can be found at https://www.kcl.ac.uk/news/siddharth-khajuria-joins-kings-as-director-science-gallery-london.
    • Entries will be judged on:
      • Originality;
      • Interpretation of the theme;
      • Overall impression of the art;
      • Quality of production; and
      • Impact and impression.

  3. prizes
    • The prizes are being funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking under grant agreement no 777394. This Joint Undertaking receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and EFPIA and AUTISM SPEAKS, Autistica, SFARI. There will be one first prize, one second prize and one third prize winner per submission category.
    • First prize winners will receive €2,000
    • Second prize winners will receive €1,000
    • Third prize winners will receive €334.
    • Prizes will be sent to the winners or their parents/guardians if applicable by bank transfer.
    • The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
  4. winners
    • The decision of the panel judges nominated by the ARC is final.
    • The ARC will contact each winner by email as soon as practicable and within one month after the Closing Date using the contact details provided on the competition entry form.
    • The ARC will publish the surnames and counties (or equivalent if outside the UK) of each prize winner together with copies of their winning entries to the competition website on the Announcement Date.
    • If a winner objects to their surname and county being published or made available, please contact the ARC at communication@aims2trials.eu. In such circumstances, the ARC must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  5. claiming the prize
    • Prize winners will be contacted by the ARC using the personal details provided on their competition entry form. The ARC will make reasonable efforts to contact winners and winners will have 30 days to claim the prize by providing details for payment, including name, address, date of birth, bank details and proof of a bank account if outside the UK (e.g. a screenshot of online banking).
    • If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant.
    • Winners will receive their prizes within 45 days of providing payment details to the study team.
    • The ARC does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
  6. ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
    • Copyright of each entry remains with the entrant and the ARC does not claim any rights of ownership for any competition entries.
    • Entrants agree that the ARC may, but is not required to, make any submission available on its website https://www.autismresearchcentre.com/, the AIMS-2-TRIALS website https://www.aims-2-trials.eu/ and any other media whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition.
    • Entrants agree to grant the ARC a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
    • Entrants warrant that their submissions are their own original work and do not breach any third party’s intellectual property rights (for example, by including a company’s trademark without permission). Entrants hereby agree to preserve the interests of the ARC and to hold the latter harmless, should any claim by a third party, for infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights of any kind, arise in relation to their work presented to participate to the Competition.
    • Entrants are not entitled to any fees for granting the licence and are not entitled to terminate it unless agreed in writing with the ARC.
  7. data protection and publicity
    • The ARC will only process your personal information as set out in https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/privacy-policy/ See also 6.3 and 6.4 above with regard to the announcement of winners.
  8. general
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the ARC may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude entrants from participating in the competition.
    • The ARC reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
    • Any possible dispute on the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be decided by the ARC. By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
    • Prior to any legal action related to, or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (in particular their application or interpretation), entrants, or their legal representatives/guardians if applicable, undertake to seek an amicable relief with the ARC.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, for Italian entrants, of the place where the entrant has their domicile or residence), in case of failure of their attempt to settle their dispute amicably under the provisions of clause 10.4 above.
    • Italian entrants may also apply for an out-of-court mechanism to solve any lawsuit relating to these terms and conditions with the competent bodies, in accordance with Articles 141 – 141decies of the Consumers’ Code (Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005) by submitting a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority at https://www.asa.org.uk/make-a-complaint.html

  1. De promotor
    • De promotor is de University of Cambridge, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS, VK via zijn Autism Research Centre (het “ARC”) bij de faculteit Psychiatrie.
  2. de wedstrijd
    • De titel van de wedstrijd is “More Than Meets The Eye – Een kunstwetenschappelijke wedstrijd en online tentoonstelling”.
    • De wedstrijd wordt georganiseerd door het ARC als onderdeel van de Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials (“AIMS-2-TRIALS”). AIMS-2-TRIALS is een vijfjarig project dat onderzoekers, liefdadigheidsinstellingen en bedrijven uit heel Europa samenbrengt om een reeks projecten uit te voeren om beter te begrijpen hoe autisme zich ontwikkelt en om nieuwe therapieën te ontwikkelen.     • Deze wedstrijd is mede-ontworpen door het communicatieteam van Cambridge AIMS-2-TRIALS en een groep van vijf autistische mensen en verzorgers genaamd A-Reps als onderdeel van een kunst- en wetenschapstentoonstelling. De wedstrijd is een kans om het bewustzijn over autisme te vergroten en een prijs te winnen door een origineel kunstwerk in te zenden dat geïnspireerd is door autisme of een interpretatie is van uw autisme. De inzendingen worden door een panel van drie juryleden beoordeeld op artistieke waarde en hoe goed het thema tot uitdrukking komt.
    • Er zijn drie categorieën voor deelname:
      • Individueel (kunst gemaakt zonder hulp);
      • Individueel (kunst gemaakt met hulp); en
  1. GESCHIKTHEID
    • Voor deelname aan de wedstrijd moeten de deelnemers ten minste 16 jaar oud zijn op het moment van deelname en woonachtig zijn in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Ierland, Spanje, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Italië of Nederland.
    • Voor deelnemers jonger dan 18 jaar uit Nederland, Frankrijk of Spanje, en voor deelnemers onder relevante voogdijschap in enig rechtsgebied, moet de toestemming van ouders/voogden (voor zover relevant) worden ingediend op het moment van deelname. In dergelijke omstandigheden behoudt het ARC zich het recht voor om de toestemming van de ouders/ voogden van de deelnemer te controleren .
    • De wedstrijd staat alleen open voor mensen met autisme.
    • Door deel te nemen aan de wedstrijd bevestigen de deelnemers, of de ouders/voogden van de deelnemers indien van toepassing, dat zij hiervoor in aanmerking komen en dat zij in aanmerking komen om een eventuele prijs te claimen. Het ARC kan om een bewijs van leeftijd, woonplaats of geschiktheid vragen.
    • Door deel te nemen aan een wedstrijd gaan de deelnemers, of de ouders/voogden van de deelnemers indien van toepassing, akkoord met deze algemene voorwaarden.
  2. hoe IN te SCHRIJVEN
    • De wedstrijd loopt van 10.00 uur GMT op 2 april 2023 (de “Openingsdatum“) tot en met 12.00 uur GMT op 1 september 2023 (de “Sluitingsdatum“).
    • De deelname aan de wedstrijd is gratis.
    • Er wordt uitdrukkelijk overeengekomen dat alle kosten of uitgaven die voortvloeien uit de deelname van deelnemers aan de wedstrijd uitsluitend ten laste komen van de deelnemers.
    • Alle inzendingen moeten online worden ingediend en uiterlijk om 12.00 uur op de sluitingsdatum door het ARC zijn ontvangen. Inzendingen die na de sluitingsdatum worden ontvangen, worden automatisch gediskwalificeerd. De winnaars van de wedstrijd worden bekendgemaakt op [datum 1 maand na sluitingsdatum] (de “Bekendmakingsdatum”).
    • Om deel te nemen aan de wedstrijd:
      • Download en vul een deelnameformulier in dat beschikbaar is op [XXX]; en
      • Upload het ingevulde deelnameformulier en een fotokopie in beeldformaat (JPEG, PNG, enz.) van het kunstwerk van de deelnemer op https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/art-competition/
    • Maximaal drie inzendingen per deelnemer. Als er meer dan drie inzendingen zijn, worden alleen de eerste drie inzendingen van de deelnemer in aanmerking genomen.
    • Onvolledige, beschadigde of te late inzendingen en inzendingen per post worden niet geaccepteerd.
    • Het ARC kan geen verantwoordelijkheid aanvaarden voor storingen van apparatuur, technische storingen, het uitvallen van systemen, satellieten, netwerken, servers, computerhardware of software van welke aard dan ook of enig ander probleem dat ertoe kan leiden dat een inzending niet wordt ontvangen of niet correct wordt geregistreerd.
    • Inzendingen mogen geen auteursrechtelijk beschermd materiaal bevatten of iets dat lasterlijk, obsceen, onwettig, beledigend of anderszins ongeschikt is. Inzendingen moeten geschikt zijn voor publieke vertoning en voor publiek van alle leeftijden. Het ARC behoudt zich alle rechten voor om inzendingen die niet aan deze principes voldoen te diskwalificeren.
    • Voor hulp bij inzendingen of vragen over de wedstrijd kunt u contact opnemen met communication@aims2trials.eu.
    • De inzendingen voor de wedstrijd worden beoordeeld door een panel van drie juryleden, bestaande uit twee onafhankelijke juryleden. De juryleden zijn door A-Reps gekozen op basis van voordracht en rangschikking van de voorgedragen personen. De juryleden zijn:
      • Tammillia Winters, een multi-getalenteerde en gepassioneerde autistische kunstenares die in meerdere media werkt. Meer informatie is te vinden op https://missinktrovert.com/about/.

    • Inzendingen worden beoordeeld op:
      • Originaliteit;

      • Kwaliteit van de productie; en
      • Impact en indruk.

  3. prijzen
    • De prijzen worden gefinancierd door de Gemeenschappelijke Onderneming voor het initiatief inzake innovatieve geneesmiddelen nr. 777394. Deze gemeenschappelijke onderneming krijgt steun van het onderzoeks- en innovatieprogramma Horizon 2020 van de Europese Unie en van EFPIA en AUTISM SPEAKS, Autistica, SFARI. Er zal één eerste prijs, één tweede prijs en één derde prijs per inzendingscategorie worden toegekend.
    • De winnaars van de eerste prijs ontvangen 000 euro
    • Winnaars van de tweede prijs ontvangen 1.000 euro
    • Winnaars van de derde prijs ontvangen 334 euro.
    • De prijzen worden via een bankoverschrijving naar de winnaars of hun ouders/voogden gestuurd, indien van toepassing.
    • Er kan niet over de prijs worden onderhandeld en deze is niet overdraagbaar.
  4. winnaars
    • De beslissing van de door het ARC aangewezen juryleden is definitief.
    • Het ARC zal zo snel mogelijk en binnen één maand na de sluitingsdatum per e-mail contact opnemen met elke winnaar via de contactgegevens die op het deelnameformulier staan vermeld.
    • Het ARC zal de achternamen en districten (of gelijkwaardig indien buiten het VK) van elke prijswinnaar samen met kopieën van hun winnende inzendingen op de wedstrijdwebsite publiceren op de Bekendmakingsdatum.
    • Als een winnaar bezwaar heeft tegen publicatie of beschikbaarstelling van zijn of haar achternaam en provincie, neem dan contact op met het ARC via communication@aims2trials.eu. In dergelijke omstandigheden moet het ARC de informatie en de winnende inzending toch op verzoek aan de Advertising Standards Authority verstrekken.
  5. de prijs CLAIMen
    • De prijswinnaars worden door het ARC gecontacteerd aan de hand van de persoonsgegevens die zij op het deelnameformulier hebben verstrekt. Het ARC zal redelijke inspanningen leveren om contact op te nemen met de winnaars en de winnaars hebben 30 dagen de tijd om de prijs te claimen door gegevens voor betaling te verstrekken, waaronder naam, adres, geboortedatum, bankgegevens en bewijs van een bankrekening indien deze zich buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk bevindt (bijvoorbeeld een screenshot van online bankieren).
    • Als een winnaar niet kan worden gecontacteerd of niet beschikbaar is, vervalt de prijs en wordt deze toegekend aan de volgende in aanmerking komende deelnemer.
    • De winnaars ontvangen hun prijzen binnen 45 dagen na het verstrekken van de betalingsgegevens aan het onderzoeksteam.
    • Het ARC aanvaardt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid als u de prijs niet in ontvangst kunt nemen.
  6. eigendom van wedstrijdinzendingen en intellectuele-eigendomsrechten
    • Het auteursrecht van elke inzending blijft bij de deelnemer en het ARC claimt geen eigendomsrechten voor de inzendingen.
    • Deelnemers gaan ermee akkoord dat het ARC alle inzendingen beschikbaar mag stellen, maar niet verplicht is dat te doen, op zijn website https://www.autismresearchcentre.com/, de AIMS-2-TRIALS-website https://www.aims-2-trials.eu/ en alle andere media, nu bekend of in de toekomst uitgevonden, en in verband met enige publiciteit van de wedstrijd.
    • Deelnemers stemmen ermee in het ARC een niet-exclusieve, wereldwijde licentie te verlenen, voor de volledige duur van alle intellectuele eigendomsrechten op de wedstrijdinzending, om de wedstrijdinzending voor dergelijke doeleinden te gebruiken, weer te geven, te publiceren, door te geven, te kopiëren, te bewerken, te wijzigen, op te slaan, opnieuw te formatteren en in sublicentie te geven.
    • Deelnemers garanderen dat hun inzendingen hun eigen originele werk zijn en geen inbreuk maken op de intellectuele eigendomsrechten van derden (bijvoorbeeld door het handelsmerk van een bedrijf zonder toestemming op te nemen). Deelnemers stemmen er hierbij mee in de belangen van het ARC te beschermen en het ARC te vrijwaren, mocht een derde partij een claim indienen wegens inbreuk op auteursrechten of andere eigendomsrechten van welke aard dan ook, in verband met het werk dat zij voor deelname aan de wedstrijd hebben ingediend.
    • Deelnemers hebben geen recht op enige vergoeding voor het verlenen van de licentie en zijn niet gerechtigd deze te beëindigen, tenzij dit schriftelijk met de ARC is overeengekomen.
  7. gegevensbescherming en publiciteit
    • Het ARC zal uw persoonsgegevens alleen verwerken zoals uiteengezet in https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Zie ook 3 en 6.4 hierboven met betrekking tot de bekendmaking van winnaars.
  8. algemeen
    • Als er enige reden is om aan te nemen dat deze algemene voorwaarden zijn geschonden, kan het ARC, naar eigen goeddunken, zich het recht voorbehouden om deelnemers uit te sluiten van deelname aan de wedstrijd.
    • Het ARC behoudt zich het recht voor om de wedstrijd te houden, nietig te verklaren, op te schorten, te annuleren of te wijzigen wanneer dit noodzakelijk is.
    • Alle mogelijke geschillen over de interpretatie van deze algemene voorwaarden worden beslist door het ARC. Door deel te nemen aan de wedstrijd gaan deelnemers akkoord met deze algemene voorwaarden.
    • Deelnemers, of hun wettelijke vertegenwoordigers/voogden indien van toepassing, verbinden zich ertoe om voorafgaand aan elke juridische actie met betrekking tot of in verband met deze algemene voorwaarden (in het bijzonder de toepassing of interpretatie daarvan), te trachten een minnelijke schikking te treffen met het ARC.
    • Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn onderhevig aan het Engelse recht en de partijen onderwerpen zich aan de niet-exclusieve bevoegdheid van de rechtbanken van Engeland en Wales (of, voor Italiaanse deelnemers, van de plaats waar de deelnemer zijn/haar woonplaats of verblijfplaats heeft), in geval van mislukking van hun poging om hun geschil in der minne te schikken overeenkomstig de bepalingen van artikel 10.4 hierboven.
    • Italiaanse deelnemers kunnen ook een buitengerechtelijk mechanisme aanvragen om eventuele geschillen met betrekking tot deze voorwaarden op te lossen bij de bevoegde instanties, in overeenstemming met de artikelen 141-141decies van de Consumentenwet (Wetsdecreet nr. 206 van 6 september 2005) door een klacht in te dienen bij de Advertising Standards Authority op https://www.asa.org.uk/make-a-complaint.html.

  1. DER PROJEKTTRÄGER
    • Der Projektträger ist die Universität Cambridge, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS, über ihr Zentrum für Autismusforschung (Autism Research Centre, das ARC) in der Abteilung für Psychiatrie.
  2. DER WETTBEWERB
    • Der Titel des Wettbewerbs lautet „More than meets the eye (Innensicht Aussensicht) – Kunst- und Wissenschaftswettbewerb mit Online-Ausstellung“.
    • Der Wettbewerb wird vom ARC im Rahmen der Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials („AIMS-2-TRIALS“) durchgeführt. AIMS-2-TRIALS ist ein fünfjähriges Projekt, das Forscher, Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen und Unternehmen aus ganz Europa zusammenbringt. Die in diesem Rahmen durchgeführten Projekte haben zum Ziel, die Entwicklung von Autismus besser zu verstehen und neue Therapien zu entwickeln.     • Der Wettbewerb wurde vom Cambridge AIMS-2-TRIALS-Kommunikationsteam und einer Gruppe von fünf so genannten A-Reps, das heißt autistischen Menschen und Betreuungspersonen, als Teil einer Kunst- und Wissenschaftsausstellung gemeinsam konzipiert. Der Wettbewerb bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, die Gesellschaft für das Thema Autismus zu sensibilisieren und einen Preis zu gewinnen, indem sie ein Original-Kunstwerk einreichen, das von Autismus inspiriert ist oder eine Interpretation des eigenen Autismus darstellt. Die Beiträge werden von einer dreiköpfigen Jury nach ihrem künstlerischen Wert und danach beurteilt, wie gut sie das Thema zum Ausdruck bringen.
    • Es gibt drei Kategorien für die Teilnahme:
      • Einzelpersonen (ohne Assistenz erstellte Kunst)
      • Einzelpersonen (mit Assistenz erstellte Kunst)
  1. Teilnahmeberechtigung
    • Um an dem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, müssen die Teilnehmer:innen zum Zeitpunkt der Einsendung mindestens 16 Jahre alt und im Vereinigten Königreich, Irland, Spanien, Deutschland, Frankreich, Italien oder den Niederlanden ansässig sein.
    • Für Teilnehmer:innen unter 18 Jahren aus den Niederlanden, Frankreich oder Spanien sowie für Teilnehmer:innen, die in dem betreffenden Land unter Vormundschaft stehen, muss die Zustimmung der Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten (je nach Fall) zum Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung vorgelegt werden. Unter diesen Umständen behält sich das ARC das Recht vor, die Einwilligung der Eltern/ Erziehungsberechtigten der teilnehmenden Person zu überprüfen.
    • Der Wettbewerb ist nur für Menschen mit Autismus offen.
    • Mit der Anmeldung zum Wettbewerb bestätigen die Teilnehmer:innen bzw. deren Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigte, dass sie teilnahmeberechtigt und berechtigt sind, einen möglicherweise gewonnenen Preis zu beanspruchen. Das ARC kann einen Nachweis des Alters, des Wohnsitzes oder der Teilnahmeberechtigung verlangen.
    • Mit der Einreichung eines Wettbewerbsbeitrags erklären sich die Teilnehmer:innen bzw. gegebenenfalls deren Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigte mit diesen Bedingungen einverstanden.
  2. ABLAUF DER TEILNAHME
    • Der Wettbewerb läuft vom 2. April 2023, 10:00 Uhr GMT („Eröffnungsdatum“) bis einschließlich 1. September 2023, 12:00 Uhr GMT („Einsendeschluss“).
    • Die Teilnahme an diesem Wettbewerb ist kostenlos.
    • Es wird ausdrücklich vereinbart, dass alle Kosten oder Ausgaben, die durch die Teilnahme an dem Wettbewerb entstehen, ausschließlich von den Teilnehmer:innen getragen werden.
    • Alle Beiträge müssen online eingereicht werden und bis spätestens 12:00 Uhr am Einsendeschluss beim ARC eingegangen sein. Beiträge, die nach dem Einsendeschluss eingehen, werden automatisch disqualifiziert. Die Gewinner:innen des Wettbewerbs werden am [Termin 1 Monat nach Einsendeschluss] bekannt gegeben (das „Bekanntgabedatum“).
    • Zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb:
      • Laden Sie ein Anmeldeformular herunter und füllen Sie es aus. Das Formular finden Sie unter [XXX].
      • Laden Sie das ausgefüllte Anmeldeformular und eine Fotokopie des Kunstwerks der teilnehmenden Person im Bildformat (JPEG, PNG usw.) unter https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/art-competition/ hoch.
    • Pro Teilnehmer:in sind maximal drei Beiträge zulässig. Bei Einreichung von mehr als drei Beiträgen werden nur die ersten drei Beiträge der teilnehmenden Person berücksichtigt.
    • Unvollständige, beschädigte oder verspätet eingereichte Beiträge sowie per Post eingereichte Beiträge werden nicht berücksichtigt.
    • Das ARC übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Geräteausfälle, technische Störungen, System-, Satelliten-, Netzwerk-, Server-, Computer-Hardware- oder -Softwarefehler jeglicher Art oder andere Probleme, die dazu führen können, dass ein Beitrag nicht empfangen oder nicht ordnungsgemäß registriert wird.
    • Die Beiträge dürfen kein urheberrechtlich geschütztes Material und keine verleumderischen, obszönen, rechtswidrigen, beleidigenden oder anderweitig unangemessenen Inhalte enthalten. Die Beiträge müssen für die öffentliche Ausstellung und für ein Publikum aller Altersgruppen geeignet sein. Das ARC behält sich das Recht vor, Beiträge, die diesen Grundsätzen nicht entsprechen, zu disqualifizieren.

    • Die Wettbewerbsbeiträge werden von einer dreiköpfigen Jury mit zwei unabhängigen Mitgliedern bewertet. Die Jurymitglieder wurden von A-Reps anhand der Nominierung und des Rankings der nominierten Personen ausgewählt. Die Jurymitglieder sind:

    • Die Beiträge werden nach folgenden Kriterien bewertet:
      • Originalität
      • Interpretation des Themas
      • Gesamteindruck des Kunstobjekts
      • Qualität der Umsetzung
      • Wirkung und Eindruck.

  3. PREISE
    • Die Preise werden von dem Gemeinsamen Unternehmen Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 unter der Fördervereinbarung Nr. 777394 finanziert. Dieses Gemeinsame Unternehmen wird vom Forschungs- und Innovationsprogramm Horizont 2020 der Europäischen Union sowie vom Dachverband der nationalen Verbände forschender Pharmaunternehmen (EFPIA), der US-amerikanischen Nichtregierungsorganisation AUTISM SPEAKS, der britischen Wohltätigkeitsorganisation Autistica und dem Autismus-Forschungsprogramm der Simons Foundation (SFARI) unterstützt. Pro Wettbewerbskategorie werden ein erster Preis, ein zweiter Preis und ein dritter Preis vergeben.
    • Die Gewinner:innen des ersten Preises erhalten jeweils 000 €.
    • Die Gewinner:innen des zweiten Preises erhalten jeweils 1.000 €.
    • Die Gewinner:innen des dritten Preises erhalten jeweils 334 €.
    • Den Personen, die gewonnen haben, bzw. deren Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten werden die Preisgelder per Banküberweisung übermittelt.
    • Der Preis ist nicht verhandelbar oder übertragbar.
  4. GEWINNER:INNEN
    • Die Entscheidung der vom ARC benannten Jury ist endgültig.
    • Das ARC wird alle, die gewonnen haben, so schnell wie möglich und innerhalb eines Monats nach Einsendeschluss per E-Mail benachrichtigen. Dazu werden die auf dem Anmeldeformular angegebenen Kontaktdaten verwendet.
    • Am Tag der Bekanntgabe veröffentlicht das ARC auf der Website des Wettbewerbs die Nachnamen und Countys (bzw. die entsprechenden Angaben bei Gewinnen außerhalb des Vereinigten Königreichs) der einzelnen Gewinner:innen zusammen mit Kopien der prämiierten Beiträge.
    • Falls Sie als Gewinner:in mit der Veröffentlichung Ihres Nachnamens und der Region nicht einverstanden sind, wenden Sie sich bitte an das ARC unter communication@aims2trials.eu. In solchen Fällen muss das ARC die Informationen und den prämiierten Beitrag auf Anfrage dennoch an die Advertising Standards Authority, eine britische nichtstaatliche Organisation der Werbebranche, weitergeben.
  5. INANSPRUCHNAHME DES PREISES
    • Die Gewinner:innen der Preise werden vom ARC unter Verwendung der auf dem Anmeldeformular angegebenen persönlichen Daten benachrichtigt. Das ARC bemüht sich in angemessener Weise, die Gewinner:innen zu benachrichtigen. Diese haben danach 30 Tage Zeit, den Preis anzufordern, indem sie Angaben zur Zahlung machen, einschließlich Name, Anschrift, Geburtsdatum, Bankverbindung und Nachweis eines Bankkontos, wenn sie außerhalb des Vereinigten Königreichs ansässig sind (z. B. ein Bildschirmfoto bei Online-Banking).
    • Wenn eine Person, die gewonnen hat, nicht kontaktiert werden kann oder nicht auffindbar ist, verfällt der Preis. Er wird dann an die nächste in Frage kommende Person vergeben.
    • Die Gewinner:innen erhalten ihre Preise innerhalb von 45 Tagen nach Übermittlung der Zahlungsdaten an das Studienteam.
    • Das ARC übernimmt keine Verantwortung, wenn Sie den Preis nicht in Anspruch nehmen können.
  6. EIGENTUM AN DEN WETTBEWERBSBEITRÄGEN UND RECHTE AN GEISTIGEM EIGENTUM
    • Das Urheberrecht an jedem Beitrag verbleibt bei den Teilnehmenden. Das ARC erhebt keinen Anspruch auf Eigentumsrechte an den Wettbewerbsbeiträgen.
    • Die Teilnehmer:innen sind damit einverstanden, dass das ARC jeden Beitrag auf seiner Website https://www.autismresearchcentre.com/, auf der AIMS-2-TRIALS-Website https://www.aims-2-trials.eu/ und in allen anderen derzeit bekannten oder in Zukunft erfundenen Medien sowie in Verbindung mit allen Werbemaßnahmen für den Wettbewerb veröffentlichen darf, jedoch nicht muss.
    • Die Teilnehmer:innen erklären sich damit einverstanden, dem ARC eine nicht ausschließliche weltweite Lizenz zu erteilen, um den Wettbewerbsbeitrag während des gesamten Geltungszeitraums aller Rechte an geistigem Eigentum zu nutzen, auszustellen, zu veröffentlichen, zu übertragen, zu kopieren, zu bearbeiten, zu verändern, zu speichern, neu zu formatieren und Unterlizenzen für diese Zwecke zu vergeben.
    • Die Teilnehmer:innen versichern, dass es sich bei ihren Beiträgen um ihre eigenen Originalarbeiten handelt, und dass sie nicht gegen die Rechte am geistigen Eigentum Dritter verstoßen (z. B. durch die unerlaubte Verwendung der Marke eines Unternehmens). Die Teilnehmer:innen verpflichten sich hiermit, die Interessen des ARC zu wahren und dieses schadlos zu halten, falls ein Dritter Ansprüche wegen Verletzung von Urheberrechten oder anderen Eigentumsrechten jeglicher Art im Zusammenhang mit ihrer zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb eingereichten Arbeit geltend macht.
    • Die Teilnehmer:innen haben keinen Anspruch auf Vergütung für die Erteilung der Lizenz und sind nicht berechtigt, sie zu kündigen, sofern dies nicht schriftlich mit dem ARC vereinbart wurde.
  7. DATENSCHUTZ UND ÖFFENTLICHKEIT
    • Das ARC wird Ihre persönlichen Daten nur so verarbeiten, wie in https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/privacy-policy/ dargelegt. Siehe auch 3 und 6.4 oben in Bezug auf die Bekanntgabe der Gewinner:innen.
  8. ALLGEMEINES
    • Besteht Grund zu der Annahme, dass ein Verstoß gegen diese Geschäftsbedingungen vorliegt, kann sich der ARC nach eigenem Ermessen das Recht vorbehalten, Teilnehmer:innen von der Teilnahme an dem Wettbewerb auszuschließen.
    • Das ARC behält sich das Recht vor, den Wettbewerb abzuhalten, zu annullieren, auszusetzen, zu stornieren oder zu ändern, wenn dies erforderlich ist.
    • Etwaige Streitigkeiten über die Auslegung dieser Geschäftsbedingungen werden vom ARC entschieden. Mit der Teilnahme an dem Wettbewerb erklären sich die Teilnehmer:innen mit diesen Geschäftsbedingungen einverstanden.
    • Vor der Einleitung rechtlicher Schritte im Zusammenhang mit diesen Geschäftsbedingungen (insbesondere deren Anwendung oder Auslegung) verpflichten sich die Teilnehmer:innen oder gegebenenfalls ihre gesetzlichen Vertreter:innen/Erziehungsberechtigten, sich mit dem ARC um eine gütliche Beilegung zu bemühen.
    • Diese Geschäftsbedingungen unterliegen englischem Recht, und die Parteien anerkennen die nicht ausschließliche Zuständigkeit der Gerichte von England und Wales (oder, für italienische Teilnehmer:innen, des Ortes, an dem sie ihren Wohnsitz oder Aufenthalt haben) für den Fall, dass ihr Versuch scheitert, ihre Streitigkeiten gemäß den Bestimmungen von Abschnitt 10.4 oben gütlich beizulegen.
    • ItalienischeTeilnehmer:innen können bei den zuständigen Stellen auch ein außergerichtliches Verfahren zur Beilegung von Rechtsstreitigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit diesen Geschäftsbedingungen gemäß Artikel 141 – 141‑decies des Verbraucherschutzgesetzes (Gesetzesdekret Nr. 206 vom 6. September 2005) beantragen, indem sie bei der Advertising Standards Authority unter

  1. Il promotore
    • Il promotore è l’Università di Cambridge, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS, attraverso il suo Centro di Ricerca sull’Autismo (l’”ARC”) presso il Dipartimento di Psichiatria.
  2. il concorso
    • Il titolo del concorso è “More than meets the eye – Art and science competition and online exhibition” (Concorso d’arte e scienza e mostra online “Più di quanto non sembri).
    • Il concorso è gestito dall’ARC nell’ambito degli Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials (“AIMS-2-TRIALS”). L’AIMS-2-TRIALS è un progetto quinquennale che riunisce ricercatori, enti di beneficenza e aziende in tutta Europa per realizzare una serie di progetti volti a comprendere meglio come si sviluppa l’autismo e a individuare nuove terapie.     • Il presente concorso è stato ideato dal team addetto alla comunicazione AIMS-2-TRIALS di Cambridge in collaborazione con un gruppo di 5 persone autistiche e caregiver denominati A-Reps nell’ambito di una mostra d’arte e scienza. Il concorso offre l’opportunità di sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica nei confronti dell’autismo e di vincere un premio presentando un’opera d’arte originale che sia ispirata all’autismo o che sia un’interpretazione del proprio autismo. Le opere presentate saranno giudicate da una giuria di tre persone in base al merito artistico e all’abilità di esprimere il tema.
    • Le categorie del concorso sono tre:
      • individuale (arte creata senza assistenza);
      • individuale (arte creata con assistenza);
  1. Ammissibilità
    • Per partecipare al concorso, i partecipanti devono avere almeno 16 anni di età al momento della presentazione della domanda e risiedere nel Regno Unito, in Irlanda, Spagna, Germania, Francia, Italia o Paesi Bassi.
    • Per i partecipanti di età inferiore ai 18 anni provenienti da Paesi Bassi, Francia o Spagna, e per i partecipanti sotto tutela in qualsiasi giurisdizione, il consenso dei genitori/tutori (a seconda dei casi) deve essere inoltrato al momento della presentazione della domanda di partecipazione. In tali circostanze, l’ARC si riserva il diritto di verificare il consenso dei genitori/tutori del partecipante.
    • Il concorso è aperto solo a persone autistiche.
    • Iscrivendosi al concorso, i partecipanti, o i genitori/tutori dei partecipanti, se del caso, confermano di essere idonei a partecipare e riscuotere il premio eventualmente vinto. L’ARC può richiedere una prova dell’età, della residenza o dell’idoneità.
    • Presentando un’opera per il concorso, i partecipanti o i genitori/tutori dei partecipanti, se del caso, accettano di essere vincolati dai presenti termini e condizioni.
  2. MODALITÀ DI PARTECIPAZIONE
    • Il Concorso si svolgerà dalle 10.00 GMT del 2 aprile 2023 (la “Data di apertura“) alle 12.00 GMT del 1° settembre 2023 (la “Data di chiusura“).
    • La partecipazione al Concorso è gratuita.
    • Si conviene espressamente che qualsiasi costo o spesa derivante dalla partecipazione al Concorso sarà esclusivamente a carico dei partecipanti.
    • Tutte le domande di partecipazione devono essere inoltrate online e ricevute dall’ARC entro e non oltre le ore 12.00 della Data di chiusura. Le domande ricevute dopo la Data di chiusura saranno automaticamente squalificate. I vincitori del concorso saranno annunciati il [data 1 mese dopo la Data di chiusura] (la “Data di annuncio”).
    • Per partecipare al concorso:
      • scaricare e compilare il modulo della domanda di partecipazione disponibile all’indirizzo [XXX], e
      • caricare il modulo della domanda di partecipazione debitamente compilato e una fotocopia in formato immagine (JPEG, PNG, ecc.) dell’opera d’arte del partecipante su https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/art-competition/.
    • Ogni partecipante può inviare un massimo di tre opere. Nel caso in cui vengano presentate più di tre opere, saranno prese in considerazione solo le prime tre inviate.
    • Le domande di partecipazione incomplete, corrotte o tardive e quelle inviate per posta non saranno accettate.
    • L’ARC non si assume alcuna responsabilità per eventuali guasti alle apparecchiature, problemi tecnici, guasti ai sistemi, ai satelliti, alla rete, ai server, all’hardware o al software di computer di qualsiasi tipo o per qualsiasi altro problema che possa causare la mancata ricezione o l’errata registrazione di una domanda di partecipazione.
    • Le opere non devono contenere materiale protetto da copyright o materiale diffamatorio, osceno, illegale, offensivo o in altro modo inadatto. Le opere devono essere adatte per essere esposte al pubblico e per un pubblico di tutte le età. L’ARC si riserva il diritto di squalificare le opere non conformi a questi principi.
    • Per informazioni sulle domande di partecipazione o sul concorso, contattare communication@aims2trials.eu.
    • Le opere presentate al concorso saranno giudicate da una giuria composta da tre giudici, tra cui due giudici indipendenti. I giudici sono stati scelti da A-Reps in base alle nomine e alla classifica degli individui nominati. I giudici sono:

    • I premi sono finanziati dall’Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking (JU) (impresa comune iniziativa per i farmaci innovativi 2) ai sensi della convenzione di sovvenzione n. 777394. Questa impresa comune beneficia del sostegno del programma per la ricerca e l’innovazione Horizon 2020 dell’Unione Europea e di EFPIA e AUTISM SPEAKS, Autistica, SFARI. Verranno assegnati un primo premio, un secondo premio e un terzo premio per ciascuna categoria.
    • I vincitori del primo premio riceveranno 000 euro.
    • I vincitori del secondo premio riceveranno 1.000 euro.
    • I vincitori del terzo premio riceveranno 334 euro.
    • I premi saranno inviati ai vincitori o ai loro genitori/tutori, se del caso, tramite bonifico bancario.
    • Il premio non è negoziabile o trasferibile.

    • La decisione della giuria nominata dall’ARC è definitiva.
    • L’ARC contatterà ciascun vincitore via e-mail non appena possibile ed entro un mese dalla Data di chiusura, utilizzando i dati di contatto forniti nel modulo della domanda di partecipazione al concorso.
    • L’ARC pubblicherà i cognomi e le contee (o l’equivalente se al di fuori del Regno Unito) di ciascun vincitore del premio insieme alle copie delle opere vincenti sul sito web del concorso alla Data di annuncio.
    • Se si oppone alla pubblicazione o alla messa a disposizione del proprio cognome e della propria contea, il vincitore è pregato di contattare l’ARC all’indirizzo communication@aims2trials.eu. In tale evenienza, l’ARC deve pur sempre fornire le informazioni e il nome del vincitore del concorso all’Advertising Standards Authority su richiesta.
  5. riSCOSSIONE DEL premio
    • I vincitori dei premi saranno contattati dall’ARC utilizzando i dati personali forniti nel modulo della domanda di partecipazione al concorso. L’ARC farà quanto ragionevolmente possibile per contattare i vincitori, che avranno 30 giorni di tempo per riscuotere il premio fornendo gli estremi per il pagamento, tra cui nome, indirizzo, data di nascita, coordinate bancarie e prova di titolarità di un conto bancario se non residenti nel Regno Unito (ad esempio, uno screenshot dell’internet banking).
    • Se un vincitore non può essere contattato o non è disponibile, il premio decadrà e verrà assegnato al successivo partecipante idoneo.
    • I vincitori riceveranno i premi entro 45 giorni dalla comunicazione degli estremi per il pagamento al team dello studio.
    • L’ARC non si assume alcuna responsabilità per la mancata riscossione di un premio.

    • I partecipanti accettano che l’ARC possa, ma non sia obbligato a, rendere disponibile qualsiasi opera sul proprio sito web https://www.autismresearchcentre.com/, sul sito web di AIMS-2-TRIALS https://www.aims-2-trials.eu/ e su qualsiasi altro mezzo di comunicazione, sia attualmente conosciuto che inventato in futuro, e in collegamento con qualsiasi pubblicità del concorso.
    • I partecipanti accettano di concedere all’ARC una licenza mondiale non esclusiva per l’intera durata di qualsivoglia diritto di proprietà intellettuale sull’opera presentata al concorso per utilizzare, mostrare, pubblicare, trasmettere, copiare, modificare, alterare, archiviare, riformattare e concedere in sublicenza l’opera presentata al concorso per tali finalità.
    • I partecipanti garantiscono che le loro opere sono originali e non violano i diritti di proprietà intellettuale di terzi (ad esempio, inclusione del marchio di un’azienda senza autorizzazione). I partecipanti si impegnano a tutelare gli interessi dell’ARC e a manlevare detto Centro da qualsiasi reclamo da parte di terzi per violazione del diritto d’autore o di qualsivoglia altro diritto di proprietà relativamente alla propria opera presentata per partecipare al Concorso.
    • I partecipanti non hanno diritto ad alcun compenso per la concessione della licenza e non hanno il diritto di annullarne l’assegnazione se non concordato per iscritto con l’ARC.
  7. protezione dei dati e pubblicità
    • L’ARC tratterà i dati personali dei partecipanti solo secondo quanto indicato in https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Consultare anche 3 e 6.4 per quanto riguarda l’annuncio dei vincitori.
  8. generalITÀ
    • Qualora vi sia motivo di ritenere che sia avvenuta una violazione dei presenti termini e condizioni, l’ARC può, a sua insindacabile discrezione, riservarsi il diritto di escludere i partecipanti dalla partecipazione al concorso.
    • L’ARC si riserva il diritto di trattenere, annullare, sospendere, cancellare o modificare il concorso qualora ciò si renda necessario.
    • Qualsiasi eventuale controversia sull’interpretazione dei presenti Termini e condizioni sarà decisa dall’ARC. Partecipando al Concorso, i partecipanti accettano i presenti Termini e condizioni.
    • Prima di intraprendere qualsiasi azione legale relativa a, o in collegamento con, i presenti Termini e condizioni (in particolare la loro applicazione o interpretazione), i partecipanti, o i loro rappresentanti legali/tutori, se del caso, si impegnano a trovare una soluzione amichevole con l’ARC.
    • I presenti termini e condizioni sono disciplinati dalla legge inglese e le parti si sottopongono alla giurisdizione non esclusiva dei tribunali di Inghilterra e Galles (o, per i partecipanti italiani, del luogo in cui il partecipante ha il domicilio o la residenza), in caso di fallimento del loro tentativo di risolvere amichevolmente la controversia ai sensi delle disposizioni della clausola 10.4 di cui sopra.

  1. Le promoteur
    • Le promoteur est l’université de Cambridge, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS, Royaume-Uni, par l’intermédiaire de son centre de recherche sur l’autisme (ARC) au sein du département de psychiatrie.
  2. lE CONCOURS
    • Le titre du concours est « More than meets the eye – Art and science competition and online exhibition » (Au-delà du premier coup d’œil ; concours artistique et scientifique et exposition en ligne).
    • Le concours est organisé par l’ARC dans le cadre des Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials (« AIMS-2-TRIALS »). L’AIMS-2-TRIALS est un projet quinquennal réunissant des chercheurs, des organisations caritatives et des entreprises de toute l’Europe pour mener à bien une série de projets visant à mieux comprendre le développement de l’autisme et à mettre au point de nouvelles thérapies.     • Ce concours a été conçu conjointement par l’équipe de communication AIMS-2-TRIALS de Cambridge et un groupe de 5 personnes autistes et aidants appelé A-Reps dans le cadre d’une exposition d’art et de science. Le concours est une occasion de sensibiliser le public à l’autisme et de gagner un prix en soumettant une œuvre d’art originale inspirée par l’autisme ou une interprétation de votre autisme. Les œuvres seront jugées en fonction de leur mérite artistique et de la façon dont elles expriment le thème par un jury composé de trois personnes.
    • Il y a trois catégories de participation :
      • Individuel (art créé sans assistance) ;
      • Individuel (art créé avec assistance) ; et
  1. Admissibilité
    • Pour participer au concours, les participants doivent être âgés d’au moins 16 ans au moment de la participation et être résidents du Royaume-Uni, d’Irlande, d’Espagne, d’Allemagne, de France, d’Italie ou des Pays-Bas.
    • Pour les participants âgés de moins de 18 ans aux Pays-Bas, en France ou en Espagne, et pour les participants sous tutelle dans toute juridiction, le consentement des parents/représentants légaux (selon le cas) doit être soumis au moment de la participation. Dans ces circonstances, l’ARC se réserve le droit de vérifier le consentement des parents/représentants légaux du participant.
    • Le concours est ouvert uniquement aux personnes autistes.
    • En s’inscrivant au concours, les participants, ou les parents/représentants légaux des participants le cas échéant, confirment qu’ils ont le droit de participer et de réclamer tout prix qu’ils pourraient gagner. L’ARC peut demander une preuve d’âge, de résidence ou d’admissibilité.
    • En soumettant une participation au concours, les participants, ou leurs parents/représentants légaux le cas échéant, acceptent d’être liés par ces conditions générales.
  2. comment PARTICIPER
    • Le concours se déroulera du 2 avril 2023 (la « date d’ouverture») à 10 h GMT (au 1er septembre 2023 (la « date de clôture »)  à 0 h GMT (minuit) inclus.
    • La participation au concours est gratuite.
    • Il est expressément convenu que tous les coûts ou dépenses découlant de la participation au concours seront supportés exclusivement par les participants.
    • Toutes les inscriptions doivent être soumises en ligne et reçues par l’ARC au plus tard à 0 h (minuit) à la date de clôture. Toute participation reçue après la date de clôture sera automatiquement disqualifiée. Les gagnants du concours seront annoncés le [date 1 mois après la date de clôture] (la « date d’annonce »).
    • Pour participer au concours :
      • Télécharger et remplir un formulaire d’inscription disponible à l’adresse [XXX] ; puis
      • Télécharger le formulaire d’inscription dûment rempli et une copie numérique en format image ( JPEG, PNG, etc.) de l’œuvre du participant à l’adresse https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/art-competition/.
    • Un maximum de trois soumissions est autorisé par participant. Si plus de trois participations sont soumises, seules les trois premières seront prises en compte.
    • Les inscriptions incomplètes, corrompues ou tardives et les inscriptions soumises par courrier postal ne seront pas acceptées.
    • L’ARC ne peut être tenu responsable de toute panne d’équipement, de tout dysfonctionnement technique, de toute panne de système, de satellite, de réseau, de serveur, de matériel informatique ou de logiciel de quelque nature que ce soit ou de tout autre problème pouvant entraîner la non-réception ou l’enregistrement incorrect d’une inscription.
    • Les contributions ne doivent pas contenir de matériel protégé par des droits d’auteur ou de matériel diffamatoire, obscène, illégal, offensant ou inapproprié. Les œuvres doivent être adaptées à une exposition publique et à un public de tous âges. L’ARC se réserve tous les droits de disqualifier les participations qui ne respectent pas ces principes.
    • Pour toute aide concernant les inscriptions ou toute question relative au concours, veuillez contacter communication@aims2trials.eu.
    • Les candidatures seront jugées par un panel de trois juges comprenant deux juges indépendants. Les juges ont été choisis par A-Reps sur la base de la nomination et du classement des personnes nommées. Les juges sont :

      • l’originalité ;
      • l’interprétation du thème ;
      • l’impression générale de l’art ;
      • la qualité de la production ; et
      • l’impact et la perception.

  3. prix
    • Les prix sont financés par l’entreprise commune Innovative Medicines Initiative 2, dans le cadre de la convention de subvention n° 777394. Cette entreprise commune bénéficie du soutien du programme de recherche et d’innovation Horizon 2020 de l’Union européenne, de l’EFPIA, d’AUTISM SPEAKS, d’Autistica et de la SFARI. Il y aura un premier prix, un deuxième prix et un troisième prix pour chaque catégorie de soumission.
    • Les gagnants du premier prix recevront 2000 €.
    • Les gagnants du deuxième prix recevront 1000 €.
    • Les gagnants du troisième prix recevront 334 €.
    • Les prix seront envoyés aux gagnants ou à leurs parents/représentants légaux, le cas échéant, par virement bancaire.
    • Les prix ne sont ni négociables ni transférables.
  4. gagnants
    • La décision des juges du panel nommés par l’ARC est définitive.
    • L’ARC contactera chaque gagnant par e-mail dès que possible et dans un délai d’un mois après la date de clôture en utilisant les coordonnées fournies sur le formulaire de participation au concours.
    • L’ARC publiera le nom de famille et le comté (ou l’équivalent en dehors du Royaume-Uni) de chaque gagnant, ainsi que des copies de leurs participations gagnantes sur le site Web du concours à la date d’annonce.
    • Si un gagnant s’oppose à ce que son nom et son comté soient publiés ou mis à disposition, veuillez contacter l’ARC par e-mail à communication@aims2trials.eu. Dans ce cas, l’ARC doit quand même fournir les informations et le nom du gagnant à l’Advertising Standards Authority (organisme d’autorégulation de l’industrie de la publicité au Royaume-Uni) sur demande.
  5. réclamer le prix
    • Les gagnants des prix seront contactés par l’ARC à l’aide des informations à caractère personnel fournies sur leur formulaire de participation au concours. L’ARC s’efforcera de contacter les gagnants et ceux-ci disposeront de 30 jours pour réclamer leur prix en fournissant les informations nécessaires au paiement, notamment leur nom, leur adresse, leur date de naissance, leurs coordonnées bancaires et la preuve de l’existence d’un compte bancaire s’ils se trouvent hors du Royaume-Uni (par exemple, une capture d’écran de la banque en ligne).
    • Si un gagnant ne peut être contacté ou n’est pas disponible, le prix sera annulé et attribué au prochain participant admissible.
    • Les gagnants recevront leur prix dans les 45 jours suivant la communication des détails de paiement à l’équipe chargée de l’étude.
    • L’ARC n’accepte aucune responsabilité si vous n’êtes pas en mesure de profiter du prix.

 

 

  1. propriété des participations au concours et droits de propriété intellectuelle
    • Le droit d’auteur de chaque participation appartient au participant et l’ARC ne revendique aucun droit de propriété sur les participations au concours.
    • Les participants acceptent que l’ARC puisse, sans y être obligé, rendre toute soumission disponible sur son site Web https://www.autismresearchcentre.com/, sur le site Web de AIMS-2-TRIALS https://www.aims-2-trials.eu/ et sur tout autre média connu ou inventé à l’avenir, et en relation avec toute publicité du concours.
    • Les participants acceptent d’accorder à l’ARC une licence non exclusive, mondiale, pour toute la durée des droits de propriété intellectuelle de la participation au concours, afin d’utiliser, d’afficher, de publier, de transmettre, de copier, d’éditer, de modifier, de stocker, de reformater et de concéder des sous-licences pour la participation au concours à ces fins.
    • Les participants garantissent que leurs présentations sont leur propre travail original et ne violent pas les droits de propriété intellectuelle d’un tiers (par exemple, en incluant la marque d’une entreprise sans son autorisation). Les participants acceptent implicitement de préserver les intérêts de l’ARC et de dégager cette dernière de toute responsabilité en cas de plainte d’un tiers pour violation de droits d’auteur ou d’autres droits de propriété de quelque nature que ce soit, en rapport avec leur travail présenté pour participer au concours.
    • Les participants n’ont droit à aucune rémunération pour l’octroi de la licence et ne sont pas autorisés à la résilier, sauf accord écrit avec l’ARC.

    • S’il existe une quelconque raison de croire qu’il y a eu violation des présentes conditions générales, l’ARC peut, à sa seule discrétion, se réserver le droit d’exclure les participants du concours.
    • L’ARC se réserve le droit d’organiser, d’annuler, de suspendre, de supprimer ou de modifier le concours si cela s’avère nécessaire.
    • Tout litige éventuel sur l’interprétation des présentes conditions générales sera tranché par l’ARC. En prenant part au concours, les participants acceptent les présentes conditions générales.
    • Avant toute action en justice liée aux présentes conditions générales (notamment leur application ou leur interprétation), les participants, ou le cas échéant leurs représentants légaux/représentants légaux, s’engagent à rechercher un règlement à l’amiable avec l’ARC.
    • Les présentes conditions générales sont régies par le droit anglais et les parties se soumettent à la compétence non exclusive des tribunaux d’Angleterre et du Pays de Galles (ou, pour les participants italiens, du lieu de résidence du participant), en cas d’échec de leur tentative de règlement à l’amiable de leur litige conformément aux dispositions de la clause 10.4 ci-dessus.

  1. El promotor
    • El promotor es la Universidad de Cambridge, situada en The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TS (Reino Unido), a través del Autism Research Centre (Centro de Investigación del Autismo, en adelante, el «ARC») en el Departamento de Psiquiatría.
  2. El concurso
    • El título del concurso es «More than meets the eye – Art and science competition and online exhibition» (Exposición en Internet y concurso de arte y ciencia: Más de lo que se percibe a primera vista).
    • El concurso lo organiza el ARC en el marco de AIMS-2-TRIALS (Estudios y ensayos sobre medicina innovadora para el autismo). AIMS-2-TRIALS es un proyecto de cinco años que reúne a investigadores, organizaciones benéficas y empresas de toda Europa para llevar a cabo una serie de proyectos destinados a comprender mejor cómo evoluciona el autismo y a formular nuevos tratamientos.     • Este concurso lo ha diseñado conjuntamente el equipo de comunicación de AIMS-2-TRIALS de Cambridge y un grupo de 5 personas con autismo y cuidadores familiares llamado A-Reps como parte de una exposición de arte y ciencia. El concurso es una oportunidad para concienciar sobre el autismo y ganar un premio presentando una obra de arte original inspirada en el autismo o que sea una interpretación de su autismo. Un jurado de tres miembros valorará los méritos artísticos de las obras y la forma en que expresan el tema.
    • Hay tres categorías de inscripción:
      • Individual (arte creado sin ayuda);
      • Individual (arte creado con ayuda);
  1. Criterios
    • Para participar en el concurso, los concursantes deben tener al menos 16 años en el momento de la inscripción y ser residentes en el Reino Unido, Irlanda, España, Alemania, Francia, Italia o los Países Bajos.
    • En el caso de los participantes menores de 18 años de los Países Bajos, Francia o España, y de aquellos que estén bajo tutela en cualquier jurisdicción, deberá presentarse el consentimiento de los progenitores/tutores (según proceda) en el momento de la inscripción. En tales circunstancias, el ARC se reserva el derecho de verificar el consentimiento de los progenitores/tutores.

    • Al participar en el concurso, los concursantes o, en su caso, sus progenitores/tutores, confirman que cumplen los requisitos para ello y que pueden optar a cualquier premio que ganen. El ARC podrá solicitar una prueba de edad, residencia o elegibilidad.
    • Al participar en el concurso, los concursantes o, en su caso, sus progenitores o tutores, expresan su conformidad con las presentes condiciones.
  2. Cómo participar
    • El concurso estará abierto desde las 10:00 horas GMT del 2 de abril de 2023 (en adelante, la «Fecha de apertura») hasta las 00:00 horas GMT del 1 de septiembre de 2023 (en adelante, la «Fecha de cierre») inclusive.
    • El concurso es gratuito.
    • Se acuerda expresamente que cualquier coste o gasto derivado de la participación de los concursantes en el concurso correrá a cargo exclusivamente de los concursantes.
    • Todas las inscripciones se deben enviar por Internet y el ARC tiene que recibirlas antes de las 12:00 horas de la Fecha de cierre. Las inscripciones recibidas después de la Fecha de cierre quedarán automáticamente descalificadas.     • No se aceptarán inscripciones incompletas, dañadas o enviadas fuera de plazo, ni inscripciones enviadas por correo.
    • El ARC no se responsabiliza de ningún fallo del equipo, mal funcionamiento técnico, fallo del sistema, satélite, red, servidor, hardware o software informático de ningún tipo ni de ningún otro problema que pueda provocar que una participación no se reciba o no se registre correctamente.
    • Los trabajos no deben contener ningún material protegido por derechos de autor ni nada que sea difamatorio, obsceno, ilegal, ofensivo o inadecuado por cualquier otro motivo. Los trabajos deberán ser adecuados para su exhibición pública y para públicos de todas las edades. El ARC se reserva el derecho de descalificar los trabajos que no cumplan estos criterios.

    • Las candidaturas al concurso serán evaluadas por un jurado de tres jueces, compuesto por dos jueces independientes. El jurado lo han elegido los A-Reps basándose en la nominación y clasificación de las personas nominadas. El jurado es:

  3. Premios
    • Los premios están financiados por la Empresa Común IMI 2 (Iniciativa sobre Medicamentos Innovadores) en virtud del acuerdo de subvención n.º 777394.   4. Ganadores
    • La decisión del jurado designado por el ARC será inapelable.
    • El ARC se pondrá en contacto con cada ganador por correo electrónico tan pronto como sea posible y en el plazo de un mes a partir de la Fecha de cierre, utilizando los datos de contacto facilitados en el formulario de participación del concurso.
    • El ARC publicará los apellidos y condados (o su equivalente si se encuentra fuera del Reino Unido) de cada ganador del premio junto con copias de sus obras ganadoras en la página web del concurso en la Fecha del anuncio.
    • Si un ganador se opone a que se publiquen o se pongan a disposición sus apellidos y su condado, póngase en contacto con el ARC a través de communication@aims2trials.eu. En tales circunstancias, el ARC deberá igualmente facilitar la información y la participación ganadora a la Autoridad de Normas Publicitarias, previa solicitud.
  5. Reclamar el premio
    • El ARC se pondrá en contacto con los ganadores del premio utilizando los datos personales facilitados en el formulario de participación del concurso. El ARC hará todos los esfuerzos razonables para ponerse en contacto con los ganadores y estos dispondrán de 30 días para reclamar el premio facilitando los datos para el pago, incluidos nombre, dirección, fecha de nacimiento, datos bancarios y comprobante de la existencia una cuenta bancaria si se encuentran fuera del Reino Unido (por ejemplo, una captura de pantalla de la banca electrónica).

Los concursantes se comprometen a preservar los intereses del ARC y a mantenerlo indemne en caso de que se produzca cualquier reclamación de terceros, por infracción de derechos de autor u otros derechos de propiedad de cualquier tipo, en relación con su trabajo presentado para participar en el concurso.
    • Los concursantes no tendrán derecho a percibir pago alguno por la concesión de la licencia ni a rescindirla, salvo acuerdo por escrito con el ARC.
  7. Protección de datos y publicidad
    • El ARC solo tratará sus datos personales según lo establecido en https://morethanmeetstheeye.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Véase también 3 y 6.4 en relación con el anuncio de los ganadores.
  8. Disposiciones generales
    • Si hay alguna razón para creer que ha habido un incumplimiento de estos términos y condiciones, el ARC podrá, según su criterio, reservarse el derecho de excluir a los participantes de participar en el concurso.
    • El ARC se reserva el derecho de celebrar, anular, suspender, cancelar o modificar el concurso cuando sea necesario.
    • Cualquier posible controversia sobre la interpretación de los presentes Términos y condiciones será resuelta por el ARC. Al participar en el concurso, los concursantes aceptan los presentes Términos y condiciones.
    • Antes de emprender cualquier acción legal relacionada con estos Términos y condiciones (en particular su aplicación o interpretación), los participantes, o sus representantes legales/tutores en su caso, se comprometen a buscar una solución amistosa con el ARC.
    • Estos Términos y condiciones se regirán por la legislación inglesa y las partes se someten a la jurisdicción no exclusiva de los tribunales de Inglaterra y Gales (o, en el caso de los concursantes italianos, del lugar donde el concursante tenga su domicilio o residencia), en caso de que fracasen sus intentos de resolver su disputa de forma amistosa según las disposiciones de la cláusula 10.4 anterior.
    • Los concursantes italianos también pueden solicitar un mecanismo extrajudicial para resolver cualquier litigio relacionado con estos Términos y condiciones con los organismos competentes, de conformidad con los artículos 141 – 141 decies del Código de consumo (Decreto Legislativo n.º 206 de 6 de septiembre de 2005) presentando una reclamación a la Autoridad de Normas Publicitarias en
